Why Are We Here?

…Because we care.
We care about people.
We care about their today and we care about their eternity.
We care about people because God does.

We encourage people to have a personal encounter with God.  (I know, that sounds weird, but it’s God’s idea.)  That’s why He sent His Son Jesus, so we could get to know Him up close and personal.

After an encounter with God, one’s view on life changes.  We move from being self-ish (self oriented) to being God oriented.  The things that move God’s heart begin to move our heart.  Since God cares deeply about people…that becomes our motivation.

Instead of self-ish, we become others-ish.  We can’t fix everything that hurts on a person but we can be together and support on another on the journey.
